Let it go ye children of God
let it go for your sake
whatever has you serving it
this thing you must forsake

God’s calling His holy remnant
to serve Him pure and true
yielded vessels in His care
so humble and so few

nothing must be so important
which takes away God’s time
the moments spent in seeking Him
His Spirit can refine

our faithfulness depends on us
our loyalty is due
if God will greatly bless our life
allegiance must be true
____
then God can honor our intent
He’ll enable our cause
equipping us with His power
working within His laws
____
once the hand of God touches one
a calling has gone forth
obedience then becomes a test
the future runs it’s course
____
O children of God hear His cry
we must be repentant
for Jesus wants to touch man’s need
by His holy remnant
